El Centro, que abrió sus puertas a finales de 2019, se encuentra ubicado junto a la Ermita de Santa Lucia. Este nuevo espacio cultural y, de recepción de visitantes, se complementa con la visita al yacimiento arqueológico de Santa Lucía, situado en la ladera oeste del cerro, y que abarca tres periodos intermitentes de ocupación: Hierro Antiguo (finales del III-II milenio a.C.), Época del Bronce (siglos VII-VI a.C.) y Época Islámica (siglos XI-XII).
Se exponen reproducciones de los hallazgos arqueológicos recuperados durante las sucesivas excavaciones; piezas cerámicas, de orfebrería y otras de las construcciones de las diferentes épocas.
La visita al CIE es libre y gratuita. Informadores especializados podrán guiar a los visitantes sobre el contenido de los paneles explicativos, maquetas y reproducciones de los restos arqueológicos localizados en la zona. Un audiovisual completa la información.
Cuenta con todas las medidas que exige la COVID por lo que se han instalado carteles con códigos QR, en valenciano, castellano e inglés, para consultar toda la información, sustituyendo a los folletos en papel.
A partir de esta semana se puede visitar: viernes, sábados y domingos de 10.00h a 14.00h.

The Centre, which opened its doors at the end of 2019, is located next to Santa Lucia hermitage. This new cultural and visitor reception area has free admission. It is complemented with a visit to the archaeological site of Santa Lucía. The site is located on the western slope of the hill, covering three intermittent periods of occupation: Ancient Iron (late III-II millennium BC), Bronze Age (VII-VI centuries BC) and Islamic Period (XI-XII centuries).
In this area, reproductions of the archaeological finds discovered during the successive excavations, are exhibited, such as some of the ceramic and goldsmith pieces or the constructions of the different periods. The visit to the CIE is free and specialised guides will explain the content of the explanatory panels, models and reproductions of the archaeological remains located in the area to visitors. An audiovisual completes the tour.
To comply with all the measures required by COVID, paper brochures are no longer available.
