El Palau de les Arts de València celebró el pasado martes 14 de diciembre la gala de entrega de las Estrellas Michelin 2022.
Acontecimiento del año para el sector gastronómico de España y Portugal y en el que se proclama a los mejores cocineros de ambos países.
Castellón suma una nueva Estrella Michelin concedida al restaurante Atalaya de Alcossebre.
Con esta nueva estrella son ya tres restaurantes de la provincia con dicho galardón.
Al frente del restaurante Atalaya están Alejandra Herrador y Emanuel Carlucci. Dos jóvenes chefs con gran trayectoria ya que con anterioridad trabajaron en establecimientos con Estrella Michelin .
Expláyate Magazine ya en la revista 5 de Julio del 2019 comentaba la alta cocina del restaurante Atalaya, caracterizada por ser vanguardista, atrevida, innovadora pero sin olvidar los sabrosos toques de las recetas tradicionales que, como Alejandra comentaba, son las que le despertaron esa pasión por la cocina.
La gastronomía, cultura, tradiciones, historia, playas, productos locales, fiestas ya era un atractivo para visitar la bella localidad de Alcossebre, ahora sumamos esa, sin duda, merecida Estrella del Restaurante Atalaya.
En estos momentos el restaurante permanece cerrado por fin de temporada. Abrirá su cocina, de nuevo, el próximo 18 de febrero.
Si quieren disfrutar y comprobar el porqué de esa Estrella tendrán que darse prisa en reservar mesa, ya tienen una larga lista de espera.

The Palau de les Arts de València held the 2022 Michelin Stars award gala on Tuesday, December 14th.
This annual event is for the gastronomic sector of Spain and Portugal where the best chefs of both countries are announced.
Castellón adds a new Michelin Star – awarded to the Atalaya de Alcocebre restaurant.
With this new star, there are now three restaurants in the province with this award.
At the Atalaya restaurant there are two young chefs – Alejandra Herrador and Emanuel Carlucci, both with a great amount of experience as they previously worked in establishments with a Michelin Star.
In July 5th, 2019, Expláyate Magazine commented on the haute cuisine of the Atalaya restaurant, characterized by being avant-garde, daring, innovative, not forgetting the tasteful touches of traditional recipes that, as Alejandra commented, are what stirred that passion in the kitchen.
The gastronomy together with the culture, traditions, history, beaches, local products and festivals, was already an attraction to visit the beautiful town of Alcossebre, now we can add, without a doubt, the Star of the Atalaya Restaurant.
At the moment the restaurant is closed for a well deserved break and will open its kitchen again on February 18th.
